The Ugly Duckling Transformation
From inception right to the very end, a project that incorporated all aspects of construction and landscaping design and quickly evolved into a stunning home and became the most talked about house on the street.
The Opportunity
This was a 1960's home that was very dated and needed a lot of TLC and re modelling throughout. This extensive interior and exterior renovation brought the property back to life and delivered the functionality and liveability people desire in the 21st century.
Action
A full renovation was undertaken which, among other things included:
- complete new fencing
- new decking
- replaced concrete paving and pathing
- new patio areas
- planting and trees
- complete exterior painting of the whole house
- a full roof repaint.
- On the interior a completely new kitchen was required which included a newly laid solid wood flooring
- a completely new laundry and brand new bathroom
- freshly painted throughout the entire interior.
We got a fantastic result!
We received so many great comments from all of the local neighbours in and around the area. A lot of people had known of this property for around 50 to 60 years and witnessed little to no change in that time. It has essentially gone from being the ugly duckling of the street to the most talked about house on the street. We spent a lot of time and a lot of care ensuring that it was delivered to our style and vision, and have been rewarded massively for it.
